There is a trophy awarded each year for the overall heaviest specimen caught on club waters this will be decided as a percentage of the club record weight. there is also a trophy awarded for the best specimen in each species and two special Filham trophies one for senior and one for junior club members catching the biggest fish at Filham.

The Specimen Year is from 1 October to 30 September each year this is so trophies can be organised for the presentation 
To be in with a chance to qualify for a trophy the specimen must be at least 50% ( 30% for Juniors) of the current club record weight and the specimen officer, must be informed either in writing / E-mail or by telephone within 7 days of capture. The fish must be witnessed by at least one other senior member. Family and juniors may not be witnesses, and include a photo if possible, the scales on which the fish was weighted must be produced for checking if required. You can still send in your best catches and they will be listed but to qualify for a trophy or record the above rules apply.
